Educations Role in Curbing Social Violence

Can we blame anyone for growing menace of violence in the society which makes us antsy souls on survival mode on Earth.More and more intolerance and vagabond ism.
Children and women are the new entrants to michievers club. Not that they were blithe spirits earlier.
More so social upheaval in the society shows that India is prone to sudden disturbances and social chaos which is against the demographic dividend India has.
What is the root cause of all this?
I think it is the failure of the family and the education system of India. A educated person shall not indulge in violence is no longer the axiom we live by. Students involve in malpractices in Examinations which is the first hand unethical experience they get in life. Teenage sex leads them to trivial happiness and immorality.
By the tim ethey are in college instead of being proud collegians they resemble ruffians. Not the least I want to sound like a pessimist, but if you read a newspaper the gory and bizarre crimes which come to the fore are not only deplorable but make you agnostic.
So here lies the task of the Educational Institutions to step in and complete the task of character reformation of the society. Education can be imparted by model behaviors celebrated rather than singing glory to the bad, the badder and the baddest. Here the role of primary education is the most important as most character formation happens during this phase.
Education Boards should take cognizance of the badness in the society and proactively take up imparting Gandhian values and spiritualism actively in the curriculum.
WE all should take a oath that we will further democratic values, secularism, tolerance and harmony in the society.
